Happy bank holiday Monday!  How we all doin’?

First of all I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came down to Heebies last week to watch my acoustic set, it was super fun and there were LOADS of great bands on so I had a really good day.  I’m pretty sure they do it every Saturday, so if you’re ever looking for something a bit different to do, or for some free entertainment, get yourself down to Heebie Jeebies, Seel St, Liverpool.  A special shout out must go to the guy who performed last, i’m so annoyed that I can’t remember his name, but he only did one song.  His song was dedicated to one of my best buds, Katie Earlam, and the song was entitled “Physchotic Lady”!!  We had a good old dance and it was hilarious, Mr Man who sung that song, if your out there, comment and send me a link to download that badboy, BEST SONG EVER!!

Heebies also saw the debut of my new short hair haha!  I was getting really bored, as I often do much to the annoyance of my hairdressers, so I chopped it off, what do we all think?  Good idea or no?

OK next I just want to take a quick minute to congratulate some of my beautiful, amazing team mates.  Most of you may have noticed that a play a little old sport called lacrosse (I never stop going on about it), well I have had a pretty rubbish season because I fractured my ankle, but I have still been coaching, going everywhere with my amazing team and have been playing a bit recently too.  Anyway in June it is the European Championships in Amsterdame and five I REPEAT FIVE of my amazing club team mates have been selected to represent England!!  Congratulations to them all: Alex, Charl, Liv, Sophie and Torz, you are ALL AMAZING!!  Everybody wish them all the luck in the world!!

I also wanted to congratulate Matt Ford on his second successful Art Show, I played at the one in 2011 and he has just put on the second one at Blast & Furnace.  Unfortunately I couldn’t make it but I know it was amazing AND you can still check out his blog and some of his amazing art which is available to buy, it really is amazing.  Check out:  http://firecrackerfashion.blogspot.co.uk/

Now some of you may have seen the exciting news that I have a BIG gig coming up at the 02 Academy.  It is on Saturday the 16th of June and is part of the Jar Music Live Plugged In night.  I am going to be playing some new tunes and promise to put on an awesome set, it is a super important gig as if it goes well it should mean I get some more really great gigs supporting bigger bands so please come along .  The gig is for anyone age 14+, I will be on at about 9pm but there should be some great other bands on too, doors open at about 6pm.  You can get your tickets directly from me, so just comment below, tweet me, facebook me or email info@cocabelle.com  PLEASE please, if you only ever come to one gig, this is the one, I promise .
